The goal of this paper is to develop a process to evaluate use of State Library resources by the public library community to meet the information needs of South Carolina citizens. Interlibrary loan services and training of local staffs still appear to be needed to assist local libraries on acquiring information not available at the local level. Success will be demonstrated by the usage statistics going up and by the upgrading of tools available to the local library to effectively search and obtain needed information.Collections
