    The PCF is a state agency created in 1976 to offer health care providers coverage for malpractice claims that exceed the providers’ primary coverage (provided by the JUA or other insurer). The PCF offers unlimited coverage. Beginning in July 2003, the PCF began offering limited coverage in addition to unlimited coverage.
