The reports published in 2003 and 2004 reported the size of the achievement gaps and recognized schools which were closing those gaps, and the 2004 report presented a call to action listing actions which needed to be taken to reduce the achievement gaps in all South Carolina elementary and middle schools. This report continues the previous studies by analyzing the 2004 PACT data and provides an update of progress toward fulfilling the call to action made a year ago.
