This regulation, promulgated pursuant to the authority of the Pollution Control Act, Section 48-1-10
et seq., and the Safe Drinking Water Act, Section 44-55-10 et seq., 1976 S.C. Code of Laws, establishes a
system and rules for managing and protecting the quality of South Carolina’s groundwater, drinking water,
and for protection of public health.
