This regulation prohibits the production, sale, or possession with intent to sell adulterated or misbranded milk and milk products within the state, except during emergencies when ungraded milk can be authorized and labeled as such by the Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC). Adulterated or misbranded products can be impounded and disposed of, and these products are subject to examination by DHEC to ensure compliance.
