dc.description	The purpose of this paper is to examine how South Carolina can integrate its educational delivery systems to improve student achievement and system excellence. First, this paper will offer a brief overview of the concept of P-16 education reform and outline the skills students need to master as they move through the education pipeline. Second, it will discuss the well-being of South Carolina’s children and their likely future success as students. Third, it will examine policy issues specific to each transition point. Finally, it will offer policy suggestions designed to ease transitions and improve student success.
