dc.description | The purpose of this paper is to examine how South Carolina can integrate its educational delivery systems to improve student achievement and system excellence. First, this paper will offer a brief overview of the concept of P-16 education reform and outline the skills students need to master as they move through the education pipeline. Second, it will discuss the well-being of South Carolina’s children and their likely future success as students. Third, it will examine policy issues specific to each transition point.
