The Students Health and Fitness Act of 2005, S.C. Code § 59-10-10(C), requires each South Carolina district to report on the amount of time allotted to students for physical education instruction and physical activity. The report must be listed by elementary school and by individual class and grade level. The State Department of Education shall provide a summary of this information to the General Assembly by December first of each year of implementation.
