Each year the Education Oversight Committee writes a list of objectives for the following year. The 2001-2002 objectives include continuing the implementation of the Education Accountability Act of 1998 ; continue to implement a proactive public relations effort to develop broad support for educational achievements and to provide information on all EAA issues through education and engagement ; recommend changes in education appropriations and governance to ensure maximum impact.
