The goal of this project is to establish effective performance standards that can be used statewide to enable a system of performance management, which will result in an increase of the WIC Program’s participation. An increase in the WIC Program’s participation means more citizens are being provided with WIC services, services that have been proven to improve health outcomes. Ultimately, this project supports DHEC’s vision of Healthy People living in Healthy Communities.
