Travel screening for Ebola virus disease (EVD)

Given the early non-specific symptoms of EVD, a travel history should be taken for all patients who present with a febrile illness. EVD should be included in the differential diagnosis in patients with travel in the past 21 days to areas currently experiencing an outbreak.
