    Members of the General Assembly requested that the LAC conduct an audit of the Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services. The audit objectives are listed: review the actions of the Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services in response to the opioid epidemic ; review the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on efforts by the Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services to respond to gambling and non-opioid substance abuse disorders ; review administrative costs, management of carry-forward funds, procurement, and staffing ; review DAODAS' reimbursement process, communication practices, and overall involvement with service providers.
