dc.description.abstract | The Strom Thurmond Institute explored government revenue in South Carolina from multiple perspectives: theoretical, historical, institutional, economic, political, and statistical. The research compared levels and distribution of revenue sources with those in other states, especially neighboring states. This exploration resulted in seven working papers by six researchers. This paper is a summary of the major findings. | |
