    This report provides an overview of the Pee Dee region’s health landscape as captured by the 2021 CHNA conducted by McLeod Regional Medical Center and MUSC Health - Florence Division. The goals of the assessment were to: Engage community members and key stakeholders from the Pee Dee that represent or serve low-income, historically-excluded and other underserved populations ; Assess and understand the community’s health issues and needs of the region ; Understand the health behaviors, risk factors and social determinants that impact health and wellness ; Identify existing community resources and explore opportunities for collaboration.
