The purpose of the State of Credit Report (SOCR) is to provide information and analysis of existing and emerging
trends in the consumer credit marketplace in South Carolina. The 2022 SOCR focuses on the use of credit in this
State as well as enforcement actions. The 2022 SOCR is a comprehensive look at various consumer credit industries, consumer credit products, and the rates consumers are charged across industries, as well as across South Carolina counties.
