Abstract
The purpose of this manual is to provide pertinent information to community mental health service providers for successful participation in the South Carolina Medicaid program. This manual provides a comprehensive overview of the program, standards, policies and procedures for Medicaid compliance. Community mental health services are provided to adults and children diagnosed with a mental illness as defined by the current edition of the Diagnostic Statistical Manual.
