dc.description.abstractSouth Carolina Department of Health and Human Services needs an effective method to identify, document, and report Medicaid providers who owe overpayments, but have declared bankruptcy and/or gone out of business, and the overpayment cannot be recovered but a federal share payment is still due CMS. This paper addresses that problem.
