This report documents and describes the results of archaeological data recovery excavations undertaken for Kiawah Resort Associates at 38CH1107 on Kiawah Island in Charleston County, South Carolina. Chicora's data recovery excavations have documented a historic component which predates the posited construction of the Shoolbred Plantation and is more likely associated with the Stanyame Plantation, built in the early eighteenth century.
