This study was prepared at the request of Ms. Debi Hacker, Conservation Administrator, South Carolina State Museum and is in
response to a three month period of temperature and relative humidity monitoring at the Musuem which has shown widely fluctuating levels. The purpose of this study is to discuss the observed conditions and offer an assessment of the problem. In addition,
recommendations are offered in several areas.
