PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) is the use of anti-HIV medications to keep HIV negative people from becoming infected. PrEP is approved by the FDA and has been shown to be safe and effective at preventing HIV infection. The purpose of this directory is to provide information for community-based organizations, hospitals, private providers, health centers, and other PrEP providers who provide PrEP services in the state of South Carolina.
