Coalition for the Concerns of Blacks in Post-Secondary Education in South Carolina
During the 1976-77 academic year, the Coalition for the Concerns of Blacks in Post-Secondary Education in South Carolina conducted a series of seven “grass-roots” community meetings across the State where humanist-scholars, educators, lay citizens, and students interacted on critical issues in education facing them. Thus, the recommendations found in this report and as presented to the South Carolina 1202 Commission are the culmination of these seven seminars. Statistics provided include enrollment, faculty and employment, and library data.
