The mission of the Guardian ad Litem program is to recruit, train and supervise a diverse pool of volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in Family Court. It is important in achieving this goal to understand the barriers that are preventing us from achieving this goal as well as to gain a better understanding of what the driving force is behind those that do make the commitment or take the action to take that first step to inquire about the Guardian ad Litem Program and what the next step is.
