dc.description.abstract | The mission of the Cass Elias Guardian ad Litem Program is to recruit, train and supervise a diverse pool of volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in Family Court. Intervening in advanced of a child having spent two or more years in foster care. This population of children needs greater access to services to ensure the viability and stability of permanent outcomes. A systematic approach needs to be developed, implemented and monitored to be able to track, evaluate and service children of the older population. | |
