Abstract
South Carolina experienced one of its most severe multiyear droughts during the period from June 1998 through August 2002. Ground-water levels, lake levels, and streamflows were at or below record level lows in most areas. This report documents the hydrologic conditions of the state's aquifers, lakes, and streams during the drought. It consists of three sections. Each section consists of hydrographs that illustrate the effects of the drought on the water resources of South Carolina.
