The overall objective of the stormwater control plan is to limit the discharge of sediment from the project site and to prevent postconstruction peak discharge flowrates from exceeding the pre-construction peak discharge flowrates. This manual has been prepared as a guideline for the SCDOT to use in the design of structures to limit the discharge of sediment from highway construction sites.
