The Trident Area Groundwater Management Plan was developed and accepted on May 12th, 2017. The plan’s intent is to provide direction for future groundwater management and protection by evaluating the hydrogeologic, environmental, social, and economic impacts of groundwater withdrawals at various rates on the long-term sustainable levels for the aquifers in the region. Based on goals, and evaluation of the water use in the region, recommendations for different water sources and reductions in use are made in this document.
