This veto message from Governor Mark Sanford vetoes H. 3620, R. 175, the Fiscal Year 2007-08 General Appropriations Act. The fundamental premise of this veto message is the same as the previous messages: this rate of increase in state government spending is not sustainable in the long-run, and for the good of both taxpayers and programs that help people in South Carolina, it’s important that we further limit spending.
