dc.description.abstractThe South Carolina Office of the State Inspector General (SIG) initiated a review of the South Carolina Conservation Bank (Bank) at the request of the South Carolina Office of the Governor to assess the Bank’s accounting practices and processes in connection with the Bank’s funding of grants for land conservation efforts throughout the state. The scope of review was limited to the review of the Bank’s internal accounting practices, policies and procedures; and the Bank’s budgeting and funding of approved grants for FYs 2017 and 2018.
