dc.description.abstractThis booklet has been prepared to assist employers in their efforts to comply with the South Carolina Occupational Safety and Health Act to provide for training of employees in the recognition, avoidance and prevention of unsafe or unhealthful working conditions. The objective of this booklet is to make the operators of powered industrial trucks aware of their responsibility in the safe use of the equipment. The operator should already know how to operate the equipment. This training is to be used as a re-enforcement to safe operating procedure.
