Abstract
The S.C. Solid Waste Policy and Management Act of 1991 (Act) requires colleges/universities to purchase recycled, reusable and recyclable products whenever practical. The Act sets a state goal that 25 percent of purchases contain recycled content. This document gives a few tips to get started. It also lists vendors that offer recycled products.
