Abstract
Description
This report by the Legislative Audit Council reviews the Department of Social Services. The audit found that the Department of Social Services could have done more to protect vulnerable children. During the follow-up, they found that DSS has made progress in some areas, but improvement is still needed. They determined that 5 of the12 recommendations to the agency had been implemented and 3 recommendations had been partially implemented.
