With the passing of the HIDA law, the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control established a multidisciplinary advisory panel to study and make recommendations for the surveillance and reporting of HAIs. This is the 2014 report on the progress of implementing the South Carolina Hospital Infection Disclosure Act.
