The objective of this study was to estimate the losses from four scenario earthquakes that may occur in South Carolina sometime in the future to be used to assess the state's vulnerability, provide emergency managers detailed estimates, to develop a statewide public awareness, and promote coordination and collaboration in preparing for a major earthquake.
