dc.description.abstract | This paper shows the decrease in smoking in South Carolina through the use of the S.C. Tobacco Quitline, commercials and Medicaid referrals. A record-breaking 4,000+ calls were made to
the S.C. Quitline in January 2015. In January, more than 70 percent of callers said they heard about the Quitline from the television commercials. | |
