dc.description | This is an annual update on the status of the energy efficient manufactured homes incentive program. The law was enacted to provide financial incentives for the purchase and installation of energy efficient manufactured homes in South Carolina in order to save money for low income residents and to reduce energy use across the state. An average of 140
homes per month were shipped from manufacturers to dealers in the state and 74 ENERGY STAR homes have been installed on-site in accordance with ENERGY STAR standards. The appendix gives retailer instructions for customers to claim the $750
non-refundable tax credit and a home credit application form. | |
