The Arts Commission awards $5,000 fellowships to 7 professional South Carolina resident artists. These recipients in the fields of visual arts, crafts, performance, music composition and literature are each available for 20 days of the year to tour the state. This mini-tour allows sponsors to meet and work with highly qualified artists and helps develop and promote fellowship winners. Fellowship artists on tour can provide the following activities: Exhibitions, slide shows, group shows, master classes, lecture/demonstrations, cooperative presentations, radio and television appearances, interviews, readings, collaborative installations, arts criticism, choreography, commentary and writing.Collections
