Description
This report by the Legislative Audit Council reviews the Division of Child Development within the Department of Social Services, which has been responsible for regulating all South Carolina day-care facilities since 1973. The Committee reviewed the costs of operating child development centers directly by the Department of Social Services and the costs of contracting with private centers for services.
