The first section of this document introduces the Little Pee Dee Scenic River Project and describes the history and process, which began in mid-2004, and includes scenic river designation, creation of the Advisory Council, development of the plan, and public participation. The second section forms the core of the document. The significant resources and management issues of the Little Pee Dee Scenic River are described and a plan is provided. The plan specifies five management goals and 29 recommendations that address land use and development, water quality and streamflow, recreational use and access, and fish, wildlife and habitat protection.Collections
