More than 54 years of data from various sources have been compiled, reviewed, and prepared as hydrographs for this publication. These hydrographs show water-level trends in 282 South Carolina wells, 266 in the Coastal Plain physiographic province and 16 in the Piedmont. For approximately one-third of the wells, data are available for a period of 20 years or more; 14 well records contain data for 40 years or more, and 7 of these wells are in Beaufort County. JAS-1, a well located in southeastern Jasper County, has the longest period of record – more than 50 years.Collections
