    The Graduate School at the University of South Carolina will create a strategic plan to help guide them for the next three years. One of the goals is to evaluate the role of the front desk, how we can utilize it to provide good customer service both internally and externally, and how we can staff it in a cost effective manner without sacrificing its efficiency or usefulness. This paper evaluates that plan.
