    In 1980-81 more than 230 schools in South Carolina participated in the Artists-in-Schools program with funding provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, the South Carolina Arts Commission and local educational sponsors. The selections of student art work and poetry herein are samples of the learning activities and skill development generated by the artists and represent only a brief sharing of the total scope of experiences.
