Abstract
The Office of Highway Safety and Justice Programs, a division of the South Carolina Department of Public Safety, is responsible for carrying out activities related to the ad-ministration of an effective highway safety program. This is accomplished by developing programs and other activities throughout South Carolina. Utilizing evidence-based performance measures and strategies, the impact goal of the OHSJP is to help reduce traffic collisions, injuries, and fatal-ities through the various programs that are spearheaded, coordinated, and/or implemented by this office.
