Abstract
In 2019, South Carolina's off-bottom oyster mariculture industry contributed over $8.7million in output to the state's economy andsupported 130 jobs. In addition to generating economic output, supporting jobs, and producing food, South Carolina's oyster mariculture industry contributes to the water quality in the state's tidal creeks.
