Abstract
These regulations set forth the specific requirements for controlling underground injection in the State
and include provisions for: the classification and regulation of injection wells; prohibiting unauthorized
injection; protecting underground sources of drinking water from injection; classifying underground
sources of drinking water; and, requirements for abandonment, monitoring, and reporting for existing
injection wells used to inject wastes or contaminants.
