Abstract
in South Carolina, the University of South Carolina’s Arnold School of Public Health and College of Education and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control partnered with elementary schools in one local school district to provide professional development opportunities for physical education teachers and classroom teachers in an effort to increase children’s physical activity throughout the school day.
