Abstract
Cigarette butts continue to rank among the top most common types of marine debris found worldwide. The Coastal Waccamaw Stormwater Education Consortium and its partners are implementing the Grand Strand Cigarette Litter Reduction Project for the purposes of enhancing public awareness and promoting the proper disposal of cigarette litter on the beaches and rivers along the Grand Strand of coastal South Carolina.
