Abstract
This research project intends to quantify the cost of placing Raised Pavement Markers (RPM)s on roadways to determine the feasibility of a yearly program to place RPMs on all non‐interstate roads subjected to inclement winter weather operations. To determine the cost effectiveness of SCDOT’s current RPM choice, three other states’ practices were evaluated.
