Integrated Preparedness Plan (2025-2027)

South Carolina Emergency Management Division
Abstract
The State of South Carolina pursues a coordinated strategy in order to sustain and improve its capacity to save lives and protect property in the event of a disaster. Capabilities-based planning, supported by a robust and relevant training and exercise cycle, is a critical component of this strategy. The State's emergency preparedness training and exercise program is coordinated by the South Carolina Emergency Management Division, in cooperation with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and many other public and private-sector stakeholders. This schedule is designed to prepare the State to optimally address the natural, man-made, and technical hazards it may face.
