South Carolina Treatment Needs Assessment, Adult Household Population Survey

Abstract
This report is one of a family of studies designed to determine the need for treatment of alcohol and other drug dependence and abuse in South Carolina. This study was conducted to determine the need for substance abuse treatment among the adult household population in South Carolina. The results of this survey show theĀ· expected patterns of use for the substances alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, hallucinogens, stimulants, sedatives, inhalants and heroin or other opiates.
