Abstract
On March 17 and 29, 2021, the Internal Revenue Service announced special individual income tax filing and payment relief for Form 1040 filers affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In response to the
tax relief provided by the Internal Revenue Service, the Department is providing the same tax
filing and payment relief granted by the Internal Revenue Service for individual income tax
returns originally due April 15, 2021.
