Abstract
This study offers evidence to help residents, business owners, and policymakers internalize the changing reality that the Grand Strand, once more known for the stark contrasts of the communities comprising it, is becoming more unified in the minds of tourists and residents alike. This study estimates the impact of tourism on the Grand Strand’s economy and the fiscal impact for the region and the state.
